ALPINE BOTANICAL GARDEN LA JAŸSINIA
An exceptional 3,700-hectare botanical garden, home to 2,400 varieties of plants and a magnificent view of the surrounding area from the summit.
This botanical garden was created in 1906 by Marie-Louise Cognacq-Jaÿ, founder of La Samaritaine. It covers 3,700 hectares and is home to more than 2,400 varieties of plants. In an exceptional setting, dandelions rub shoulders with tulips, and wild garlic is found alongside more than 35 types of peonies. A stream runs through the rocks and forms several waterfalls. At the top of the property, near the remains of the castle of Tornalta (12th century), a beautiful viewpoint on the surroundings awaits the visitor.

L'entretien doit être difficile, ce qui explique certainement un certain envahissement par les mauvaises herbes au moment de notre visite, mais c'était très beau et rafraîchissant malgré tout.
