LA POTERIE DU GRAND PONT
A Zen journey in the Bauges massif! A ceramicist specialising in Raku Yaki - a 16th century art from Japan, used to shape the bowls for the tea ceremony - Jean-Paul Bozone is an art craftsman. In the studio of his traditional 1834 baujue farmhouse, he subjected his clay creation to the test of fire, skilfully turned and then subtly glazed, according to the artistic inspiration of the moment. The potter works on unique pieces. At the end of this transmutation, the glazed ceramic bears traces of colored cracks that are revealed by transparency. The poetic charm operates. We choose with emotion the vase, the solitaire with its subtle balance, the bowl or cup to bring back to appreciate the precious matcha tea with refinement. Imaginary landscapes obtained from natural pigments and metal oxides. Enamels do not contain lead. So you can drink without moderation in the dishes in Raku! And eat there too. Moreover, the three-starred chef Laurent Petit in Annecy-le-Vieux made no mistake in choosing a few pieces specifically created for his table.
