Gorges where the Giffre flows down, to be overlooked on ladders leading to balconies, the rock-climbing crag of Les Tines prized by climbers.

At the gateway to the charming village of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, the listed Gorges de Tines is an impressive site! On the road between Samoëns and Sixt, a parking lot provides access to paths, bridges and belvederes to admire the gorges, carved by the work of time and wild waters. A signposted path also takes you to the ancient gorges, with a few ladders to complete the loop. It's a place of charm and mystery. The Tines rock-climbing crag and the Mont via ferrata offer climbers other viewpoints.

Hiking is free but as it is recommended by the sly little minx not to go with young children. The site is impressive, splendid, exceptional! Parking on the grand place on the right towards Sixt then head to the bridge along narrower parking. This bridge passes to the top of the current gorges. The old ones are higher when you go to the top of the site school climbing. A nice walk to discover the region.
