At the top of the Forclaz pass, the Balcon du Lac lives up to its name. Its large terrace offers a choice view of the lake. This restaurant, entirely renovated, replaces the Edelweiss, well known by the inhabitants of Annecy. People come here for its exceptional panorama of Lake Annecy and the Bauges and Bornes mountains, but also for its Savoyard specialties: fondue, tartiflette, raclette of course, and also reblochonnade or escalope savoyarde. In the afternoon, you can have a drink or a waffle while admiring the paragliding flights. The service is very friendly.
