LA CHARPENTERIE
Restaurant with terrace near the lake offering the best of the culinary tradition.
Carpentry is the art of designing and building a solid wood frame as a building base. On the first heights of Talloires Bay, a stone's throw from the lake, this hotel and restaurant not only has the best facilities - a splendid environment and a magnificent décor with a room panelled in pine pine, the details of which are the most meticulous - finely crafted cabinet-making, but also a warm family spirit with the attentive service of a team led by Dys and Lucie. The kitchen is just as well prepared. The chef strives to respect the rhythm of the seasons by ensuring the quality of the products as well as the local culinary tradition by opening his panorama on the world and its multiple influences. The menu features fish from the lake and local recipes: marbled with cake, Thai-style Provençal mussels and lobster medallions; baron and lamb chops, crushed potatoes with herbs and eggplant caviar, thyme juice; roasted monkfish with melissa and vegetable expression from the vegetable garden; not to mention Savoyard specialities. From the terrace, Talloires Bay nestles quietly between a small lake and the rock of Chère while time gently stretches to enjoy its dishes with delicacy and delight. All that remains is to extend your stay in one of the Carpentry rooms.
