Carillon de Taninges, the largest carillon in Haute-Savoie, with a concert hall to see the carillonneur play live.
First of the department, the carillon of Taninges, built at the instigation of the abbot Bastard-Boghain, was inaugurated on August 15, 1939 and played essentially during religious festivals and ceremonies. The largest carillon in Haute-Savoie welcomes the most prestigious carillonneurs of international fame. The concert hall is made up of tiers allowing the public to hear this art of carillon playing in the most comfortable conditions and to see the carillonneur playing live, unique in Europe. You can even hear him ringing on certain market days.
