OFFICE DE TOURISME D'YVOIRE
Office for all tourist information on Yvoire, an elegant medieval lakeside village.
Yvoire, nicknamed "the pearl of Lake Geneva", is an elegant medieval village on the shores of the lake. Enter the fortified village through the Porte de Rovorée (and by boat from Nyon and Geneva) and wander through streets of narrow, flower-filled houses. The first thing that catches your eye is the bulbous church tower. Next, you'll discover the remains of the 14th century château and the romantic Jardin des cinq sens (Garden of the five senses). Then it's on to the Domaine de Rovorée - La Châtaignière.
