GLACIER LES GALETS
He left the glaciers and eternal snow of Chamonix to settle on the edge of the former Rhône glacier, Le Léman. Stéphane Richard has made Chamonix's reputation since 1996 with his fine pastry and chocolate. An amateur of challenges and the development of good products, he opens the glacier Les Galets in Yvoire in 2010. In the heart of the medieval city and in the walls of the East Wall, the location is ideal and the apparent stones of the main hall give a cozy atmosphere enhanced by a contemporary decoration chosen. A stopover on the shaded terrace, surrounded by bamboo baths of the Galets to savor an ice cream among the forty-year-old fragrances (more than 70 fragrances over the entire season), will take you straight to a gustative escape which you will never want it to stop. The ingredients of Stéphane's ice cream are made from locally produced products. Some are gluten-free and many sorbets are made without milk protein. For a completely gourmet stopover, start by choosing a salty variation with a buckwheat cum such as La Lémanique à la Féra Smoked and Lemon Cream and choose a breathtaking finish with a solo cut or to share like the Malina (raspberry ball, sanded, coulis, raspberry raspberry) fresh berries of the country and chantilly house). As you will have understood, the Futé literally cracks for quality, freshness, and inventive perfumes of ice. A mandatory detour to savor one of the best ice cream on the French coast!
