MANUFACTURE D'HISTOIRES DEUX-PONTS
For 80 years, this printing house has been designing exceptional works. The Manufacture specializes in creative manufacturing and is one of the few companies to bring together all the trades involved in the graphics chain in its workshops. It was awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label in 2012.
History. Founded in 1935 by André Caillat, the company was taken over in 1988 by the Grenoble printer's grandsons, Renaud and Laurent Caillat. The family business enjoyed a meteoric rise, positioning itself in high-end markets and producing books and catalogs for prestige brands such as Dior, Hermès and Saint Laurent. However, the company remains deeply involved in the local market, accounting for 40% of its sales. La Manufacture carries out each project from start to finish, with 34 graphic arts professions: design, photoengraving, retouching, printing techniques (offset, UV offset, silkscreen, letterpress, digital), binding and finishing techniques (gilding, hot stamping, curling, edge stamping, die-cutting, embossing, etc.).
The products. Micro-booklets, screen-printed brochures, industrial catalogs, magazines...
Employment. La Manufacture has 13,000 m² of expert workshops and a showroom on rue de Marignan in Paris. By 2023, it will have 96 employees.
