LA PIERRE CHAUDE
Restaurant with a south-facing terrace offering a beautiful menu of salads made from quality products.
La Pierre Chaude has been recommended by gourmets for 30 years! La Pierre Chaude is the place to warm your heart and treat your stomach. Easy to reach for skiers - at the foot of the ski and toboggan slopes with its south-facing terrace at Chamrousse 1650 - and hikers, the restaurant is open winter and summer with long opening hours. If you can't make the most of the terrace, the dining room extends the pleasure of being in the mountains with its rustic setting - fireplace, wood panelling, objects - but with great attention to detail. A warm welcome from a team who do their utmost to satisfy your every whim, whether you're dining solo, with family or a group of friends. A fine menu of quality salads - like this Dauphinoise with bacon, potatoes, hot Saint-Marcellin cheese and walnuts - and a fine menu of cured meats, including a tasty Assiette de fromages des Alpes. Fondue montagnarde, Tartiflette des Aravis and Patatas montagnarde (a type of raclette) round out the Alpine specialties. A wine list to match. Save room for the blueberry tart, it deserves it. Pierre Chaude is one of Chamrousse's must-try restaurants.
