This industrial wasteland restored to preserve local heritage was once one of the region's most prestigious smooth factories. Owned by the Donat family, its activity towards the manufacture of luxury products contributed greatly to the reputation of Corbelin. The chosen name "Médiathèque les Rondiers" recalls a flourishing page of corbelinoise economic history: rondier is a former trade related to the silk industry. The rehabilitation of this site was rewarded with Heritage Ribbons.
