At the 1924 Paris Olympic Games, Géo Charles won a gold medal in a most unusual way, as this "athlete" was also a literary champion! The museum's collections have been revamped to better link sport and contemporary art. At the crossroads of disciplines - painting, sculpture, drawing, engraving - the Musée Géo Charles traces the history of modernity in the 1920s and 1930s. It is also a place for the promotion and dissemination of contemporary art. Temporary exhibitions are held on a regular basis.
