Restaurant combining simplicity and quality with dishes inspired by seasonal products

These small restaurants must be fully enjoyed by the size but great by the talent of their cook. It has to be said that Grenoble is an amazing city where you can find great gastronomic tables while the city is home to many talents. Athanor is the cosmic oven used in alchemy. And from the alchemy, there are at this address held by the excellent Sonia Martinez. A woman of character who chose to work with seasonal products without a fixed map, which make up both simple and inspired dishes. In a warm room, in the image of the kitchen, the table tells us the dishes that some regularly return to, like the homemade Foie Gras. We also love seasonal piston soup, shellfish mariner and rabbit terrine that already announces the hunting season. Then choose between land and sea, with a true tartare of beef, a sauté of veal flavor from the woods, a meli-melo from the sea, gnocchis to ceps. Good-quality saint-marcellin and desserts are also home, like this perfect at Chartreuse or this chocolate fluffy. Quality and simplicity combine with Athanor.

De passage à Grenoble, on s'est arrêté à Athanor pour le déjeuner. J'ai commandé un tartare de bœuf au couteau. Excellent.
