On this already elevated floor of the Bastille, Ciel beckons. It's impossible to miss the striking white building of The Babel Community, home to Ciel Rooftop. As its name suggests, this restaurant propels us (by elevator), on a largely sheltered roof, into a space offering one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. It's an incredible setting in which to enjoy home cooking that's not always as convincing as it would like to be, but which works with and offers good, local produce wherever possible. Like the place, the bill is a little high. Planks to share and cocktail menu.
