In the heart of Grenoble, chef Stéphane Froidevaux's cuisine takes us to the heart of nature. Outstanding setting, starred table

Attached to the Hautes-Alpes region, Stéphane Froidevaux settled in the center of Grenoble 17 years ago in a unique setting, a 19th-century mansion that he has transformed in his own image, turned towards nature. Nature inspires a chef who is never happier than when he's out gathering plants. Whether on the terrace in an extraordinary garden or in an elegant dining room, let yourself be carried to the summits by a rack of lamb in larch bark, accompanied by its larch jus. Excellent cellar and lovely service.

Cuisine inventive et originale, à base de fleurs ou graines... Toujours un gout acidulé. Menu assez onéreux. Decor très moyen, manque de rafinement.

Aller dans ce restaurant est toujours un moment particulier pour moi , surtout du point de vue de la découverte degustative. Une cuisine originale et créative inspirée par la nature et par les produits du jardin du chef. Le grand menu est une vraie promenade culinaire entre terre et mer, entre forêt et prairie, entre potager et jardin fleurie. Attention, de petits estomacs à s'abstenir. Le menu selon l'inspiration du chef réserve aussi des agréables moments. Une très jolie carte de vin avec des surprises au prix doux et des très grands classiques. Dommage que le service n'est pas toujours à la hauteur. Mais le sommelier retrappe le coût par ses excellentes connaissances et des conseils ciblés. Le prix est élevé mais ne frôle pas les sommets de la cuisine gastronomique à Grenoble

The building magnificent and very well located, the decor is not really the height, and unfortunately the cuisine is very uneven and does not reach the summits limited in the bill.
Much progress and constance should get point. Let us hope that it is the case...
