Café de la Table Ronde, founded in 1739, is one of France's oldest cafés - second only to Procope in Paris. A lively, historic place, the Café de la Table Ronde is a popular place to go for long hours of drinking, as well as dining on one of the city's most beautiful terraces. It's the ideal place to enjoy a good Chartreusito, a mojito with Chartreuse. A traditional address, lively and not to be missed.

Le plus vieux café de Grenoble depuis 1739 au service des Grenoblois et des touristes de passage. Le Café de la Table Ronde vous propose ses fruits de mer , ravioles , tartare à déguster sur la terrasse ou dans notre café historique. Recommandé par le guide du routard et d'autres ouvert le dimanche pour le restaurant , le café ou une bonne biere pression.

And each time I come on Grenoble, it is almost a required. The restaurant includes the prices to post: it is very good and very copious, the desserts are very good, special mention with walnut tart served with its ice cream for nuts: the whole is very light despite the section! a delight. And a drink on the terrace, the bar is ideally located.
