LA PRISE DE LA BASTILLE
Go there and contact
Among the cycling races, the Prise de la Bastille is probably the shortest in distance and the most difficult in altitude.
Although the final goal of this incredible race is to climb to the restaurant Chez le Pèr'Gras, at the top of the Bastille, it is not certain that the runners at the finish will sit on the terrace to admire the view. You have to be a fighter to cover 2 km of ordeal, 6 hellish twists and turns and 320 m of difference in altitude at 17% with some passages at 25%! A superb race against the clock that the best in the world do in 7 minutes (record at 6'50''), when the last ones take about 20 minutes. We are content to encourage them in the most difficult moments of the climb.
