Randonnée au refuge de l'Étendard
The departure of this high mountain hike takes place from the Iron Cross Pass (2064 metres above sea level), just after the border between Isère and Savoie. The decor varies over the seasons, reserving each time to the walkers new surprises. In the summer, according to their mood, the spectacle or cry of the marmots is used; in autumn, the coloured foliage of the surrounding vegetation is admired; in winter, you can understand why not its raquettes or cross-strait skis to appreciate Dame Nature in her white coat (attention, caution and precaution if you choose this option); and in the spring, we accompany Bramant and white lakes in their post-winter wake-up. In short, hard to get tired!
