FC GRENOBLE RUGBY
Rugby has a long history in Grenoble, since a local rugby club was founded in 1892 at the same time as the first French championship! FC Grenoble rugby (FC for Football Club!) was officially born in 1911, playing in blue and red. The club benefits from the facilities of the magnificent Stade des Alpes, where it still plays under its own colors. Despite being relegated to Pro D2 after a spell in the Top 14, F. C. Grenoble continues to play among France's elite clubs. And since Le Petit Futé appreciates women's rugby, we have to mention the FC Grenoble Amazones. The Amazones women's team plays in the Elite 1, one of France's top clubs.
