Emmaüs is nothing new. And it's worth remembering the action taken by Abbé Pierre during the terrible winter of 1954 to help the most destitute. Emmaus, founded in 1954, is still active today, in particular with its famous Compagnons, who continue to clear out your attics and salvage objects for resale. The originality of this store is that it's right in the center of town, a second-hand store that makes it easier for everyone to take part in this spirit of solidarity, but also to make good bargains at low prices (20% discount for 16/26 year-olds). Store in the Carrefour Echirolles shopping mall. Strong social solidarity.
