OLD HOTEL DE LESDIGUIÈRES
Imposing building, former residence of the Dukes of Lesdiguières, renamed Maison de l'International, hosting exhibitions.
This imposing building was the residence of the former Dukes of Lesdiguières. Built on the site of part of the Gallo-Roman wall between 1600 and 1650, it leans against one of its towers, called the Treasury tower. The hotel was sold to the municipality in 1719. It housed the town hall until 1967. Renamed Maison de l'International, the former Hôtel des Lesdiguières has been completely refurbished to inform the people of Grenoble about international issues: mobility, solidarity, associations.... It is also a place for exhibitions.
