OLD PALACE OF THE PARLIAMENT OF THE DAUPHINÉ
Former Palace of Parliament in a remarkable building, flagship of Grenoble's heritage.
For over 5 centuries, this jewel of Grenoble's heritage was the seat of justice. Built in 1453, the Ancien Palais du Parlement boasts an imposing two-tone facade, completely renovated and adorned with coats of arms and animals on its flamboyant Gothic parts, an entrance door with a vaulted corridor and a chapel. The entrance is decorated with satirical subjects mocking justice. The woodwork was created by Paul Jude. Reopening to the public scheduled for 2025.
