Magasin devoting its entire space to a program of temporary contemporary art exhibitions.
The Magasin is showing its colors. And not just because its doors are in an unmistakable horizon blue, but because this emblematic cultural venue is opening them wide. Created in 1986 on the initiative of François Mitterrand, the Magasin is housed in a 3,000m2 industrial hall built by the Eiffel workshops. The Magasin has no permanent collection, and devotes its entire space to programming temporary exhibitions of contemporary art in close collaboration with guest artists. Program on site. Workshops. Guided tours on Saturdays and Sundays.
