ADAYG, an association for the development of agriculture in the Y Grenoble region, has been working since 1984 in favour of peri-urban agriculture that promotes the development of short circuits, thereby limiting transport and pollution by bringing consumer producers closer together. This approach, led by farmers and elected representatives of the communities, resulted in the creation of a collective mark Land of Ici, farmers in the Region of Y Grenoble. Each year, an accreditation committee makes changes to the specifications in order to better meet consumer expectations. The members of the Land of Ici trademark undertake to respect this specification which specifies the practices to be respected for each production. The 4 commitments of the Charter Lands of Ici: respect for the environment; the quality of origin Y Grenoble; quality of reception, information and services; transparency of approach and control of the network. An external body is responsible for carrying out the checks. The approved retailers and restaurateurs of Ici also support the local agricultural economy and participate in better management of natural spaces at the doors of cities by proposing the widest possible range of products.
