LE CASTILLAN * * *
The best houses are family houses that have preserved the best of tradition while evolving over generations. In the image of Castilian, beautiful house all dressed in wood in the heart of the station, held by the same family since its creation in 1955. Today, it is Julien and his wife who receive us warmly in this dream framework: a 3-star chalet with direct access to the ski slopes and close to the ice rink or swimming pool. A tribute to the founding grandfather, Jules, at the restaurant's restaurant where you can enjoy excellent specialities in a new décor, with an imposing stained glass window the Chaîne chain. Top of the specialities: a famous pie in the home murson. The map gives us many other surprises, with the meat selected by Julien Castilian, a training butcher. Races and pieces of choice with Scottish Angus, aubrac or charolais. Other delicacies from a table with gastronomic accents: a foie gras of semi-baked duck in soft wine, compote compote in port and gingerbread: a Beaufort-burned cream, coppa chips and salad bouquet of the moment, or a murson of murson and apples crushed with fresh olive oil and fresh herbs. One of the most clever houses.
