In the reception area of the Union of Initiative, you can discover a permanent permanent exhibition showing the heritage of the Balconies of the Rhône, the geology and history of the caves of Balme and the territory, a biography of Laurent Clerc, a native deaf man of La Balme who founded the first school for the deaf in the United States.
