The nature reserve of the Ile de la Platière, spread over nearly 500 hectares, is a sanctuary for migratory birds and beavers, and the otter has made a comeback there. Hundreds of plant species testify to the balance of the ecosystem of this alluvial forest. Located on an important migration route, it welcomes many birds of passage. A choice wintering site for several thousand water birds. Four thematic trails with question and answer games allow you to discover the history of the Rhône and the plain.
