A unique museum in France. Le Pont-de-Beauvoisin, the city of furniture since François ^I, has a Museum of woodworking machinery and hand tools of the highest order. On 400^m2, this museum recreates the atmosphere of a workshop of the first half of the ^20th century. It offers a great diversity of machines on display and has recently enriched its collections. A Danckaert Brussels combined woodworking machine dating from 1920 has been installed in the premises.

Opening time and information on MUSEUM OF WOODWORKING MACHINERY AND HAND TOOLS

Open from 10 March to 30 April and from 1 October to 15 December, every weekend from 2pm to 6pm. From May 1st to September 30th, open from Wednesday to Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. Free up to 12 years old. Adult : 4 €. Child (from 12 to 16 years old) : 2 €. Visits for groups all year round by appointment.

This museum is in the city of furniture. It is well documented and has an impressive collection of tools and machines. Videos complete the visit nicely. Do not pass by the city without making a tower...
