SPIRULINE DE CHARTREUSE
Halfway between Grenoble and Chambéry, the Spiruline de Chartreuse aquaculture farm is a must for lovers of natural, nutritious products. This farm grows spirulina, a food with exceptional virtues, without pesticides or GMOs, in drinking water. Spirulina is dried at a maximum temperature of 45°C, preserving its nutritional qualities and benefits. With the environment in mind, the farm uses sustainable materials for its construction, favors transportation by bicycle and uses solar heat to dry the spirulina. Chartreuse spirulina is sold directly in the Isère and Savoie departments, notably at AMAPs, markets and producers' stores. The farm also offers tours open to individuals, groups and schools, as well as events such as concerts and educational activities.
