LE CAFÉ DES ARTS
Restaurant with terrace in a perfectly maintained setting offering home-made burgers.
The listed Café des Arts dates back to the 19th century, and its paintings are as much a sight to behold as its charm. It was in 1856 that Gustave Riquet, a painter from Amiens, decorated the café's ceiling with allegorical frescoes, and the following year he painted local agricultural scenes on the walls. A very pleasant stop, with a small terrace for a break and a bite to eat - it's simple and it's good, like these ravioles or a good dish of the day - in a setting from another century. Good value for money.
