LE MAS DU BRUCHET
Guest house offering rooms with refined decoration and modern comfort, and a breakfast on the terrace.
"In the upper part of Meylan, right against the escarpment of the mountain, is a white house, surrounded by vineyards and gardens, from which the view plunges down the valley of the Isère": so spoke Berlioz of this place, where he liked so much to walk. The house is still there, as is the vineyard. Anne-Marie and Michael Ferguson have converted the old adjoining barn into a charming guest house, with four rooms of modern comfort and refined decoration. Enjoy a delicious breakfast on the terrace in front of a magical landscape.

Le Mas du Bruchet is an idyllic, quiet place in the mountains near Grenoble. From the spacious rooms with balcony and the terrace outside there are breathtaking views. One sees the Belledonne Chain and on a clear day even the MontBlanc is visible. Anne-Marie and Michael Ferguson are friendly hosts who are ready to help in any way. Breakfast is good and their lovely, characterful white wine (Verdesse) we took home. Highly recommended!
