The Chasal Lento Café-Museum in Mont-de-Lans has the atmosphere of a café-bistro of the past, with temporary exhibitions.
Why Chasal Lento? Chasal refers to mountain chalets, and Lento was the name of Mont-de-Lans in the 1100s. The House of Traditions and Arts has been installed in a former spa. On the first floor, the light and sound show introduces visitors to the people of the Oisans and their customs, while enjoying the café-bistro atmosphere of bygone days.
