BASILIQUE NOTRE-DAME DE L'OSIER
The Basilica of Our Lady of the Wicker is located on the site of two miraculous events that occurred in the 17th century.
This basilica is located on the spot where two miraculous events occurred in the 17th century: the miracle of the Osier (a branch of willow that bled without explanation when cut), in 1649, and the appearance of the Virgin to the same man who witnessed the first miracle (Pierre Port-Combe), in 1657. A cross was first erected (1656), before a first chapel was built (1657). This church is the last building to be erected. Its construction lasted 10 years (1858-1868).
