An opportunity to visit the Arcabas museum in Chartreuse, to admire its shimmering paintings, sculptures and stained-glass windows.
In 1953, the church reopened its doors after a major refurbishment that saw its walls become part of the revival of sacred art. Arcabas l'étoffe haute en couleur is a temporary exhibition of textile works by Jean-Marie Pirot, known as Arcabas. Shimmering paintings, predominantly golds and reds, sculptures and stained-glass windows unfold a multitude of little biblical stories. Children will appreciate the many paintings featuring animals.
