Valbonnais, a nature destination located in the town of the same name, offers a wide range of outdoor activities. Visitors can take advantage of the Au Valbonheur campsite, which offers different types of accommodation and pitches for tents and motorhomes. In 2023, the Écrins National Park celebrates its 50th anniversary with various events in the surrounding valleys and massifs. Nature lovers can also take part in outings organized by the Écrins National Park, such as meetings with park staff or film screenings. The Drac Nature association organizes environmental education and ecological watch activities. For everyday needs, there's a mini-market, Valbomarché, in Valbonnais' main street. Art lovers can attend the Montagn'Arts festival, which takes place at the Valbonnais lake over the Whitsun weekend. The town also offers public services such as the town hall, post office, waste disposal centre and library. Sports enthusiasts can take advantage of the Valbonnais sports complex, which includes a tennis court, a multi-sports field and a pétanque court. Finally, the PPV "Paysage et Patrimoine de Valbonnais" association works to preserve and enhance the town's heritage.
