PINNACLE CASTLE
13th century castle, part of which is the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa, with concerts in the courtyard in summer.
The origin of the building dates back to the 13th century. Part of the present building was built from the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa before being completed in the 15th century. The castle stands out for having retained its medieval appearance. Its owners were awarded a prize in the 1970s as part of the programme "Chefs-d'œuvre en péril" (Masterpieces in Danger) and part of the castle is listed as a Historic Monument. Concerts in the inner courtyard in summer, guided tours on request and during the European Heritage Days.
