VIRGIN'S CASTLE
Castle of the XIth century founded on a motte castrale, preserving the medieval aspect with towers and curtains, animations on the spot.
Built as early as the 11th century from a motte castrale, this stronghold continued to expand until the 18th century. The château remained in the de Virieu family for 200 years, passing from hand to hand before returning to its original family in 1874. Uninhabited for over 50 years, it was restored in 1924. It is still occupied by the descendants of the de Virieu family. Despite its many alterations, the château has retained its medieval appearance, with its towers and curtain walls. Historical tours and events, special family evenings.
