The gardens of the castle of Virieu have their origin in the 17th century and invite us to a "walking tour". They were recreated about twenty years ago in the same way as the original gardens. The lawn is decorated with a large round pool with a central water fountain, boxwood hedges, a vegetable garden and fruit trees that follow one another in two terraces that open onto the landscape. The garden is listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments and sites.
