A beautiful discovery to make in Voiron. Lucien Mainssieux, born in 1885 in Voiron, was a collector of late 19th century painters, but also a talented painter and illustrator who loved to return to his native town. Around the life and works of the artist, this museum, recently renovated is therefore dedicated to paintings of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries with a permanent exhibition that is regularly renewed thanks to more than 1,000 paintings, 6,000 drawings and many objects in the collection.
