CHEESE COMPANY OF SAINT-BONNET
Created in 1913 by Jean Rizand, a milk producer from Chalmazel, the cheese factory gradually expanded to become the Cheese Company of Saint-Bonnet. It refines and conditionne the fourmes of Montbrison and Ambert, the Fourmignonnes, mountain tomme. Tour circuits are organised to understand the traditional manufacture of the aop AOP in Montbrison. From the observation gallery, you will discover the laboratory, the manufacturing room, the dripping, washing, refining cellars… Tastings will allow you to discover the exceptional taste of this traditional handcrafted manufactured cheese.
