DOMAINE BONNEFOND
A 10-hectare family estate run by brothers Patrick and Christophe that produces Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu. The Condrieu Côte Châtillon is partly barrel-aged. It's a wine with golden highlights, smooth and candied. Parcels on the Rozier and Rochins hillsides produce the bulk of the Côte-Rôtie. The former is a fine wine with aromas of red fruits and spices, while the cuvée Les Rochins is well-balanced, with vanilla and red fruit flavors and a long finish. And let's not forget Sensation du Nord: a Viognier and a Syrah at the very edge of the appellation.
