Gothic style church dedicated to St. Peter, with a bell tower in front of two steps of geminated bays in Aveiza.
Dedicated to Saint Peter, the church of Aveize dates from 1883 and was built (in only two years!) in place of the cemetery that surrounded the old church. The latter was becoming too narrow and threatened to fall into ruin on the faithful. In front of the old church was a cross dating from the 15th century which is now installed near the cemetery. The church of St. Peter is in Gothic style and has a bell tower with two floors of geminated bays. The church square is the starting point for walks around Aveize.
