Hamlet located at the foot of the Châtelard mountain, the site takes its name from the silver lead mines that were exploited until the end of the 19th century. In 1273, Lord Aymon de Coise founded a convent for his daughters who wanted to become nuns. During the Revolution, religious orders and congregations were suppressed. The building successively became a place of hospitality, an asylum for the infirm and elderly, a military hospital and a sanatorium. Only the porch of this convent remains in the park near the current medical centre.
