AÉROPORT DE LYON-BRON
10 km south-east of Lyon centre, perfectly served, Lyon-Bron airport is in a way the "historic" base of Lyon's aviation industry, today dedicated to business aviation. In fact, as early as 1910, a "great Lyon-aviation week" attracted many visitors to the site. It was in 1930 that the Lyon-Bron airport terminal was inaugurated, welcoming more and more air traffic. It wasn't until 1975 that all airport activities were transferred to today's Saint-Exupéry airport. Today, Lyon-Bron airport is the third largest business airport in France and the development projects (business aviation, maintenance, tertiary and commercial centre, etc.) point to a bright future for this European-scale structure.
