THE "JACQUES COEUR" SILVER MINE HOUSE
A museum housing a collection of ores and period tools to learn more about the life of miners in Brussieu.
These silver mines, exploited industrially since the 14th century, then bought by the great moneyman of the King of France Jacques Coeur, are part of the heritage of the town. Rehabilitated by archaeological excavations, the Silver Mines are presented with models, videos and interactive terminals that plunge us into the life of the miners. A collection of ores and tools of the time to better understand the work of men and the wealth of the subsoil.
