DOMAINE DE PETIT FROMENTIN
Franck Decrenisse, has several strings to his bow. In addition to its production of fruit and vegetables, it stands out from the traditional Beaujolais landscape with, in addition to the classic gamay and chardonnay grape varieties, plants of syrah, pinot noir, and even more surprisingly, viognier. The change of scenery is provided by astonishing pinot noir-syrah or viognier-chardonnay blends, which are at the origin of the red and white versions of the "Saromagnote" cuvée. Even more original are the mellow wines "Quetzal" and "Léon". Almost symbolic, the prices of these wines, which regularly win awards in competitions, allow an original discovery of this little-known vineyard.
