LE VIEUX DOMAINE
It was Dominique Joseph's great-grandfather who created the field in 1890. The Old Estate consists of 10 ha of vines, 9 ha as a windmill and 1 ha in chenas appellation. The vines, on a granite soil with a strong presence of manganese, are all located on the most exposed slopes. The average age of the vines is about 40 years old, allowing Marie-Claude and Dominique Joseph a constant quality search. The harvest is made exclusively by hand, in the most tradition tradition. The whole wine cellar is carried out in the wine cellars and favours small-scale harvesting bins to avoid the crash. Each wine is stored in oak barrels for 9 months. It is this attention to detail that makes wines of this property, quality wines. Dominique Joseph will share with you the love he brings to his products with as much verve as Philippe Noiret, with whom he shares a certain resemblance, could do so. Visit, tasting and golden welcome in a wine-growing area.
