CHURCH
Church dedicated to Saint Bartholomew in the Romanesque-Byzantine style, built from 1881 in red granite in Grézieu-le-Marché.
This church, dedicated to Saint Bartholomew, was built from 1881 in red granite, in the Romanesque-Byzantine style. The variety of the origin of the stones that make up this church is surprising. The monumental porch is striking with its two large columns and winged Assyrian bulls. The font on the right side (from 1663) and the wrought iron communion tables in the side chapels are listed as historical monuments. In front of the church, on the square, a lime tree of Sully is enthroned, symbol of the peace recovered under Henri IV.
