THE LEGEND OF SAINT GORGOLU
Go there and contact
Saint Gorgolu was reportedly a hermit who lived in the Bois Woods: He slept on a stone that kept the shape of a lying man, with his dog at his feet; the two holes that can still be seen to put salt and pepper! Legend tells us that the young girls who lived for a moment on this stone increased their chances of finding a husband in the year. One day, Saint Gorgolu, mounted on his mule would have been prosecuted by a wolf. Seeing close to being joined, the mule élança and struck so loudly the rock that his foot imprima the trace of his shoe. She made such a leap that she landed across the valley. You can still see this trace on the Chemin road at the top of a little coast, in the place of the Pas of the mule.
