FÉDÉRATION DU RHONE POUR LA PECHE ET LA PROTECTION DU MILIEU AQUATIQUE
The Rhone Federation for Fishing and Protection of the Aquatic Environment is the union of the 43 approved fisheries and protection Associations for the Aquatic Environment (AAPPMA) in the Rhône region. Its mission is to coordinate in the department the important work carried out by the leaders and adherents of each AAPPMA in the area of preserving natural fish habitats, the rehabilitation of degraded aquatic environments, the awareness of citizens and their representatives of the issues related to the protection of aquatic ecosystems. The federation and AAPPMA also have the task of promoting the practice of fishing, particularly for younger generations. It brings together 27 000 members of the ADHÉRENTS of the Rhône river and can access 1 210 kilometres of rivers and 550 ha of water plans, first or second fishing categories and the fishing routes of the 36 federations belonging to the Interdepartmental Fishing Club. This federation proposes training courses for fishing especially on new fishing techniques. These are aimed at beginners as well as confirmed in Lyon or in the surrounding area, small groups (1 to 3 fishermen) framed by a fishing guide. All equipment is provided: cannes, bait, lures and even the fishing card. To choose: predators (float boat or street fishing), carp fishing, suddenly, fly, fly mounting.
